This is just one of the three different video converter versions you can find at the developer's website. This standard version allows you to perform many actions, but it doesn't have all the privileges that the platinum and ultimate have.
This application is a conversion tool which enables you to convert lots of video files. You can convert files such as AVI, VOB, MPEG, MPG, Mp4, DivX, XviD, ASF, RM from one format into another. Plus, you get to convert the mentioned video files into audio files such as Mp3, WAV, WMA, M4A, AC3 and RA. The program converts the files with a very high output video and audio quality. As in almost every program developed by 4Media, the application has an enhanced media player to play your videos before converting them.
This standard version of 4Media Video Converter allows you to convert files, add profiles, create custom profile and edit custom profiles. What it does not allow you to do is to merge different video or audio files, in comparison with the platinum and ultimate version, which allow you to do that. However, this version enables you to split video files into different pieces. You can merge your files by time or by size.
If you only want to convert your videos from one format into another, configure some advanced settings or split your video and audio files, you should buy this version, considering that it is less expensive than the other ones. However, if you are looking for a program that lets you crop video, add watermarks and edit video effects, you should consider getting an advanced version of this software. |
